As with all SYM scooters, the HD200 EVO exudes quality. The performance is more than impressive, with its 171cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke engine, that features SYM proprietary 4-valve ceramic coated cylinder technology. When the lights turn green, The HD200 CDT transmission engages and accelerates extremely smooth. With a top speed of 72 miles per hour, it easily cruises at expressway speeds and still leaves you with more zip to overtake.
The HD200 EVO has twin halogen headlights, one for low, and one for high beam, offering great visibility and safety. Upgraded large sport-tuned 220 millimeter front and rear disc brakes provide plenty of stopping power. The HD200 has a clean, easy to read instrument panel, which includes a speedometer, odometer, turn signals, digital clock and fuel and temperature indicators. Big wheels mean smooth handling, and the 16-inch wheels cruise over most of the nasty stuff without transmitting the worse of it to the rider. The HD200 EVO sports an upright riding posture, with comfortable two-passenger seating, enhanced with complimentary red stitching. The underseat compartment is spacious and can accommodate a full face helmet.
