With SYM proprietary 4-valve, ceramic-coated cylinder technology, this 268cc electronic, fuel-injected and liquid cooled 4-stroke engine, has even more impressive performance. Acceleration is more motorcycle-like than what is expected from a scooter. Right off the bottom, the CDT clutch engages and the power is fed to the rear wheel with authority. Twist it on further, and the Citycom just keeps giving, all the way up to 85 miles per hour.

The Citycom has twin halogen headlights, one low and one for high beam, offering better visibility and safety. Large, upgraded and sport-tuned front and rear disc brakes ensure that making a stop on your scooter is drama free. The Citycom has a clean dash, with a mix of analog and digital displays, including a speedometer, odometer, tachometer, turn signals, digital clock, fuel and temperature indicator. Handling is stable and the ride is straight and true. The suspension gobbles up rough patches and does a fine job communicating back to the rider. Engage into a corner with a little body English and surprising lean angles can be achieved.

Ergonomics are among the best, with a low center of gravity and excellent balance. The reach to the controls is perfect and the D.O.T. approved windshield is just the right height. With the comfortable upright position, the Citycom just feels custom made.

Underseat storage is spacious, with plenty of room for a full-face helmet, and still some extra space for other items. It's handy glove box is great for storing sunglasses, garage door openers and other small items.
